Cometario is a performative excursion conceived by Cosimo Ferrigolo, Gaia Ginevra Giorgi, Edoardo Lazzari (Extragarbo collective) for Taranto city, in occasion of Post Disaster Rooftops EP.05.
The journey unfolds along the perimeter of a constellation of places that have emerged through chance encounters, unexpected meetings, and elective affinities with the dreams of the inhabitants of the city of Taranto.
By intercepting the most intimate visions of the relationship between the city and its people, dreams are transformed into chapters of a mytho-poetic fabula: mirages that reveal an alter-city imagined by its own inhabitants through a visionary – oneironautic – voyage. This poetic journey seeks to unveil hidden, marginal, or forgotten places and activate their latent possibilities.
Cometario is a paradoxical constellation, composed of comets – appearances as luminous as they are elusive and impermanent, just like dreams.
